    Windows XP update problem

    Hello,

I am currently running Win XP pro and when I go to do the updates I get this error, "You may be a victim of counterfeit software".
It says to update my product Id #.

1.) How can I update this ID
2.) How can I get a new product ID
3.) Is there anyway around that?
