Getting an error on my local windows webserver

i'm working on a windows 2003 dev server to test web pages and web apps locally before i roll them to the web. i pulled the datd from my remote webserver and put it on the remote server. now when i go to one or any of the web pages i get "System.Web.Htt pException: The directory '/App_Code/' is not allowed because the application is precompiled". anyone run into this problem
