How to delete a file with two extensions

Hi, A website I manage has been hacked and it seems they have uploaded various file with extensions like
aux.532.asp
aux.386.asp

I cannot delete them, download them, view them nor re-name them using ftp.

Is there a method I can use to remove them or do I need to change anything on the server.

You need to have at least r/w/s rights to the server directory. Are you the Admin for the server? If not, then you need to contact the server Admin and discuss this with them.
