    Can't redirect naked domain on web hosting on Alibaba Cloud

    I have a domain on Alibaba Cloud and the basic web hosting, and followed the instructions to get the www.domain.com working. When I go to domain.com, I get 'site can't be reached error'. In the environment settings in the hosting, I can't set a redirect as the 'naked' domain doesn't appear in the dropdown, only the www.


    So my question: how do I set the A record on my domain to point at the hosting? Alibaba Cloud instructions only show how to set CNAME.

      Use Alibaba Cloud DNS to add an A record

      on the Host field, enter @ instead of www.

          Either do as you were told above or edit the htaccess file. It will be possible to redirect the path and change a lot of things on your own. Also contact your technical service for assistance.
