I cannot seem to get Inet1.OpenURL to work properly anylonger

I first wrote a program many years ago that used

This piece of code worked just fine up until a couple years ago and I have been going back and forth with it trying to understand why it no longer works.
I am using Visual Studio Enterprise Edition V6 with SP6 and the program is Visual Basic.
The code basicially sends out a http string of

http://www.findu.com/cgi-bin/rawposit.cgi?call=k1drs&start=50&length=50&time=1

and it would return an HTML page showing position reports such as

The data would be put into the tDataToGet string and then I was dumping that string to a file and then parsing the data later.

For some reason it stopped working. I can put the HTML web link into a browser and it works but the tDataToGet variable is also null.

I have gone back to very old versions of the program that again used to get this data for me but also no longer work.
Does ANYONE have any possible ideas or suggestions?
I really want to get serious about this code and get this working again but I am almost going bald pulling my hair out.
