How to create mutliple hyperlinks in a RTB using VB 6

First off, I am new to programming, I dabbled a little bit in Quick basic a long time ago but have forgotten most of it. This is my first post so please excuse the newbie.

I am creating a program where the user can type in URLs and they get added to a text file. On another page I have a Rich Text Box that displays the URLs, but I am unable to figure out how to get each individual URL to open up in the default browser.

It seems like I would need to create a variable to use as the web address, but i am not real sure how to go about doing this.

What I am trying to achieve is sort of a "desktop style" my favorites websites program.

    Any suggestions would be helpful.
    Thanks in advance...

I can show you where you can get the answer to this but it is not really for the beginner as it involves the API and subclassing. Now, if this is for you, yourself, and that friend you have rolling around in your head, then I can and will suggest a simple HTML doc sitting on your desktop. Then with a double click, your default browser opens and you have your links that you can click (depending upon OS and security settings, clicking on one of these links will open up a new default browser that will navigate to the address. However, if an existing browser is open and presently on the web, then it will recieve the address to navigate to and there will be an extra browser window that has navigated to about:blank (vista home, i.e.)).

Oh yeah, here is the link to the solution by strongm...

    Good Luck
