How to make a keygen?

I would like to learn how to make a keygen of my own, not for any other program just a keygen that looks proffesional and has codes that generate random codes. I have no idea on how to do this, if someone would please help me id appreciate that.

Hey thanks for the reply, That keygen looks great, except i have Vb6.0 and i don't think i could open that with my visual basic, and i would like to learn how to make a keygen aswell that generates random keys so can someone show me how, or link me to a site please

That keygen does look great! you don't need any new version of VB. You can always open the *.vb files in your notepad to see the source code, then copy-paste them to your vb6.

I'll also recomend you to download the latest VB Xpress edition (2008 is the one right now) to open the files, that'll help your debugging, but you'll have to check some compatibility issues in your coding, nothing big.
