VB 6 code Remote Conection (LAN) using ODBC 2.5 in Windows 98

please give me script and example (with all setting needs), how to connecting vb6 to mysql 5.0 with odbc 2.5 (remote connection) in LAN (os:windows 98). i ussually work with odbc 3.5 and xp os, so odbc 2.5 and windows98 really give me HELL!
