    List of options in toolbar

Hello ppl, in one of my assignments i want to make a toolbar, like our normal toolbar; and i want the list of options to come down same as it happens in our tool-bar; for eg. when we take our cursour to file option all the sub-options as New........till Exit comes and after clicking or selecting any one of them ; rest of things are done.
    How can i do that?

Make a simple toolbar from Tools->Menu Editor (or Right click to your form and select menu editor). There you can see its easy to use.
I am not sure about your question but you may need to apply this menu somewhere else than the top menu bar? If then just make your menu from the menu editor and set it to hidden.

Then to the object you want the menu to popup (in my example the object is an image) set on MouseUp:

    Code:
Private Sub Image1_MouseUp(Button As Integer, Shift As Integer, X As Single, Y As Single)
    If Button = vbLeftButton Then
        PopupMenu menu_name
    End If
    End Sub
You can change the vbLeftButton to vbRightButton, depends on what mouse button(left or right) you want the menu to popup.
