    Is VB 6.0 becoming obsolete??

Is vb6.0 really becoming obsolete?Almost everyone around feels proud to say that they are a '.Net programmer' as it has become much popular..Even companies prefer .Net programmers!!

Do companies still use vb6.0 for application development?

I ask this question because i'm just digging into vb6 concepts recently,as it has given me the confidence that one can do almost anything with it..

Do u think i must jump on to .Net?

Can you tell why? what is the advanatage of vb.net over vb6.
what are the things that can be done in vb.net but not in vb6.

I believe that he means the backround services that run in windows

try going to run and typing ' serices.msc 'and hitting enter and it will give you a list and a description of the services currently installed on your PC, things like virus scanners, print spooler, nvidia display manager etc.
