    file paths

    i really need help..

    how can i make the path of a link file changable?

    example:
    i saved
    c:\vb\abcd.exe
    and
    c:\vb\efgh.dat
    is linked..

    what should be my code to connect it if ever i burn/transfer it to another directory?

        I agree, we need a fuller explanation of what you mean. For instance, what version of VB are you using? What do you mean by a file being "linked"? You haven't given us enough info to understand the problem.
