I prefer to use crystal reports rather than date reports : )

Hi,

DataReports are used, when you want to Embed the ReportFile into the EXE.
Lower versions of CR did not Support this. ".rpt" files were created and deployed seperately along with the EXE..

With CR8 and higher we can Include CRDesigner in the VB Project

I would also prefer using Crystal Report but have no time to study it. Maybe next month after our thesis. (Wish us luck)
