How to use barcode scanner

Hello,

I have to develop a library type application in VB. What I really want is to add barcode reader facility to be able to check books in and out. I would appriciate if anyone could guide me on how to interface a barcode scanner to a VB application.

I would also need to generate and print barcodes to label the books. I am not sure about how to do this either.

If anybody could help me in both the areas it would be really nice.

To generate barcode you need the Barcode Fonts
To read barcode you need the components of barcode.
