      open the connection
      open the recordset

Then use any of the four MOVE mthods of recordset object to move back and forth.

Dont forget to check for BOF and EOF before moving.

        Hi,

        .MoveFirst
        .MoveNext
        .MovePrevious
        .MoveLast
        are Self Explainatory.

.Move 3 Moves to the 3rd record from current position.
If you want to move to 8th rec from beginning, then you will have to move first and then 8:
        RST.MoveFirst
        RST.Move 8

        Regards
        Veena

For ADODC use these commands :

          To navigate

          Code:
          With ADODC1.Recordset

          .MoveNext
          .MovePrevious
          .MoveLast
          .MoveFirst

          EndWith
For ADODB use these commands :

          To navigate

          Code:
          With REC

          .MoveNext
          .MovePrevious
          .MoveLast
          .MoveFirst

          EndWith
But in this case u need to define ADODB connection and its Recordset (REC in example).

          Code:
Dim DATA As New ADODB.Connection ' Defining Connection
Dim REC As New ADODB.Recordset ' Defining Recordset
