    "Programing in visual basic 6.0"

has anybody read this book because i have done some of the examples in this book but there are some that don't make any sense. when your done with the examples you try to run them they don't work. it's like there missing something.
and it brings up an error. like an "ambiguous name detected" but i have followed all the steps how can that be. (strange huh)

It could be that controls and things have been updated since the book was written, and now have new methods/properties which conflict with existing ones. Or perhaps your project has references that the writers didn't expect.
