when doing exe is it necessary to do some thing for crystal reports or will it be deployed automatically

I think that would depend on two things.

First, what version of VB (and Crystal Reports) you're using.

Second, what you mean by "doing" an EXE. I think the Package and Deployment Wizard is supposed to pick up references and include the relevant files in the package.
