Draw Excel Chart from Visual Basic

Dear Experts,
I want to read a text file containing values.
From these text values, an Excel chart has to be drawn.

I read the file contents and hold in buffer but how to put values into an Excel sheet to draw the chart? (All operations should be done through program not through manual intervention).

Does it have to be in Excel? The Microsoft Chart Control allows you to produce charts in your VB program.
