• open a text file for output
• For loop
• use Print statement to print items
• next
• Close text file.

So you mean a hardcopy?

yup if you want to print a hardcopy, use the data reports in vb6 we can show you how, if that's what you really want

[i have made a table// i can retrieve data from the table /and view it in datagrid which will fulfill my crtiteria now i want the contents of the data presaent in the datagrid for printing is this possible or else another way to print the data

Hi,

What type of contents/data are printing here? Say if your would like to print data which will be based on certain date, ID number, Names etc...you can use a combo box here to get there info..then use a select statement to get the value depending on your input.
