Im interested in starting to use vb6 & mysql. Is there a way to do this?

You learn the basics first ,try to do somthing from your side and then ask for help if struck any where.

im wondering how i am supposed to..

Only thing i could find is odbc.. Is that my way to go?

I'd suggest you have a look around the web for tutorials. You see, we're not really much of a tutorial or "getting started" site. We're more geared toward helping developers who run into bugs in their code.

There are tons of sites that provide step by step info to get started. Just try some searches, somewhere like Google. (Or Blackle of course, if you care about the Earth.)
