vb installation problem

I m having this problem with visual basic 6. As the system autoruns to install and when i click next...an error pops up stating "setup has encountered a problem and needs to close"....then the setup doesn't run.........i m using Windows xp 2002 n service pack 2. so is it tht my window doesn't support the software???/ What is the problem...pleas e help me....i have a number of systems to be developed in a very limited time.

Hi -

What installation packager are you using? VB? or a third party installation packager?

And you environment is Win XP, right? how about the OS of the target workstation?

In my experience, when you happen to package your installer to Windows XP and then, deploy it to Windows 98... then, your installer wont work.
