    I need to unlock a word document which is password protected

    How do I unlock a word document that is password protected. I have seen applications in visual basic that do it and I am curious to see that code and avoid paying hundreds of dollars.

      Do you know the documents password? And what version of VB are you using? Or are you using the VBA macro language built into Word?
