    Saving Program Settings

I'm using Microsoft Visual Studio 2005. Ok well I need to know how to save program settings that the user inputs. I am creating a program that opens a main screen, it tells you to click here to take test or click here for teachers. the teachers click there and they can enter in the questions that they want on the quiz. Then they close it. The student comes in and clicks test and the questions that the teacher enters in comes up.. I need to know how to do this. Should the teacher app and the student app be separate? how can you save and load these settings?
Any help is appreciated. I'm not very good with programming I'm just a high school student. Thanks

    Couple things,

    1) Security
--Having .txt or .xml files running around unencrypted for tests/quizzes is a bad... bad... idea.
    2) What do you want to implement? Multiple machines accessing this information? Or will it be all on one machine?

Although, with what you have here, I would suggest writing the test to a file, then loading that test from a student app (even if the student app is just a different adaptation of the original app).

Yes I was thinking having it exported to many machines. Having the teacher make the quiz then copy it to the machines. How would I do this? Thanks
