Try Command:
In my 15th Post I write:

 Try

    If (My.Computer.FileSystem.FileExists("C:\test.txt")) Then
                        CheckBox1.Checked = Flase
    End If
     
   Catch ex As Exception

End Try

If the test.txt file not found that will be error, then you can use Try to try.

I forget to till to you how to create a text file, see this code:

System.IO.File.Create("C:\Hello.bmp")

or Using this:

System.IO.File.CreateText("C:\Hello.txt")
