    Help! Changing Text with vb

Hi, I'm completely new in Visual Basic,
    My problem is this:

I want to create a simple application wich will open specified text document and edit it's specified place.

For begining , it will be good if someone tells me how to make the application open the specified text document when the button is pressed.

    Thanks,

wats the code you have so far? under the cmd button put
    Code:
    Show.text1.txt
or wat ever your document is called, i think that will work but if it doesn't then don't get mad at me cuz i'm not really a VB Guru.

This task can be done with the help of object of word and/or
        use OLE object
        Try it
        Good Luck

          Thanks For Your answers,

I found out how to open text file in vb, but the problem is:

The text file I opened contains some data and my application is written to modify the specified place of this text and save it then.

          Any Ideas?

          Regards,
          George

              Thanks vijaydiwakar!
I used OLE object as was shown in one of the tutorials and it helped me.

              RESPECT.
