    How could I

    Suppose i have developed one s/w. Now i like to give it to my friend.
    I'll give him the package. He will install it on his machine.

    Now........

    I like to ristrict the s/w being get installed on any other machine.
    i.e. Permission of one and only one installation

    How could I?

    Hi. you have your software generate a random set of characters that your friend has to give to you. You then give him a 'password' for that set of characters so that he can install it on his machine. Each install will generate a different random set of characters that only you can supply an install password for.
