    Visual Basic 6 Assignment

    Hi everyone

    I am in my first year of university and currently in an intro computer science course. I am asking all of you who know Microsoft Visual Basic 6 to let me know if you are able to give me any help. The main problems I am having should be relatively simple to most of you, they involve command buttons, mainly. Please please I am desperate for any and all help. Thank you in advance..

    Contact me for IM address or email if thats more convenient for you

    bye

      We're happy to help you understand anything you have a problem with - just post your questions here.

      Be aware though, that due to site policies (and plain old common sense) we won't be doing your assignments for you.

        Just a heads-up, TNT. Please don't post your e-mail address in an easily-readable form. Spammers love to trawl through forums like this and pick up any e-mail addresses they find. You probably wouldn't like the result. :)

          Well then, let me clarify...

          I am currently working on a programming assignment for my intro computer science course...
          I have done most of it already, however I would like some assistance in writing the code for a few of the command buttons..

          For example:
          Code:
          Private Sub cmdPrint_Click()
               Call PrintForm
          End Sub
          does not work. As far as I know, this is the only way to print from the default printer...do you see anything wrong with this code?

            Nope - looks just fine. I'd say you must have some sort of more general printing problem.

              Are you sure there is a printer connected? Sometimes the simplest answers are the hardest to think of. You are so busy trying to make the code work, you forget about the basics.
