How to connect visual basic 6 with mysql

Am working on a project and i want to use vb 6 as my interface with mysql in the background, but i failed to connect them. so i would like to know how to connect the two languages.

You can use your windows odbc utility to create a DSN connection which you can refer to in your vb code connection
