This is in continuation of my post earlier.

I am actually a bit confused about this. I want to know that since i developed my application in Win XP Pro with SP2 , is it necessary for the other machine to have SP2 installed as well to run that application??

    Regards

      Hi there,

The answer is yes. When SP2 is installed some of system files are upgraded, vb uses some of this these system files during compilation. If the other machine doesn't have the updated copy of these system files, you are likely to get some runtime or even compile time errors. Good luck & Take care.
