Where did the .Print method go?

Hi all.

Does anyone know what has happened to the Print method on forms and picture boxes, in Vb6? I'm sure I've used it plenty of times, and the online help (MSDN library) lists it, but now it doesn't seem to exist.

Is it just me, or have the Form and Picturebox objects had a pretty important part of their functionality removed?

I don't know about the print functionality of picture boxes. I still have the PrintForm method for the form, if that is what you were looking for, in my VB6 IDE. Still there on intellisense.

.print method of pictureboxes is called .paintpicture

But what I am missing is the .Print method which is (or at least was) used to print text onto a form or picturebox. As in Form1.Print "This is some text". I have used it tons of times in the past, as it was the quickest and simplest way to get a "quick & dirty" utility to display some result. But the last time was probably a year or two ago.

The online help (MSDN library) still shows it, and I found mention of it on the web, but when the list of methods etc. pops up, it isn't there. And trying to run it produces... Oops! Hold the phone!

It does work! For some reason, it's just not visible as one of the available methods, which is what fooled me. When I type a form name then a dot, the list which pops up doesn't show "Print". Um... I was going to attach an image of the list, but don't see any option to attach anything here.

Anyway, when I insist and enter the Print, it does work.

no worries mate,
.print still exists but is enumerated.
create a picturebox (Pic1) and try Pic1.Print "Hallo world" :)

Yeah, what fooled me is the fact that it no longer shows on the list of methods. I shouldn't have fallen for it, given that Pset disappeared years ago.
