Seelct a textbox by his name from a string variable

I have a problem..

I need to put a value in a textbox.text by selecting the righ control from a name created from astring... here an example


i randomize and calculate my stuff ina function.. end with a varaible dim start as string = "a2"

I need to put "1" in a2.text

so i need to seelct my a2 textbox .. ( all my textbox are already named a1 to a9 and b1 to b9 ... till i1 to i9 )
