I need to clear up a point concerning the note I posted a few days ago. I said the
applications I have written in Visual Basic 3.0 Professional edition will run on a computer which contains some form of Visual Basic programming. When I try to run them on a computer that contains MicroSoft Office, an error message appears saying "Cannot find VBRUN300".
The setup disk lists the file VBRUN300 as well as other files. So VBRUN300 is on the setup disk. If I add VBRUN300 to the setup disk, then when I run the program, I get a message that there saying that VBRUN300 is already on the disk. I have a choice of replacing the first VBRUN300 with the second and elimating the first or visa versa.
After making the choice and then continuing with the setup, I will again get the error message, "Can not find VBRUN300". So VBRUN300 is on the setup disk. It's just that it can not be found.
So those of you who suggest that I add the file VBRUN300, I have to tell you that this is not a solution.
