Cant Deploy project properly

i had a VB project which i latewr renamed.when creating an executable it prompts with the previuos name.thats not a problem,but when i want to deploy it using the deployment wizard i cant select the executable i created before coz it only wants the previous one.
When i want to delete the existing deployment scripts,i cant coz there always none.I NEED HELP.
