VB5 with windows xp

Hi all,
I installed vb5 on windows xp. it works but when I close visual studio 5, it appears a generic error.
Is there anyone could help me?

Hi Annalisa,

what version of XP are you using at the moment? XP Pro or XP Home? what is the currently installed service pack? i think it should work fine with atleast XP Service Pack 2 installed.. check out for XP Service Pack 2.. follow the link below.. good luck my fren..
