peculiar datagrid column movements

Hi,

I have a datagrid with two columns. Both columns of the datagrid fit nicely
in the form with room to spare at the margins. Suppose focus is in a cell in
the first column. When a user tabs to the second column, the entire second
column moves left and the first column is hidden! I do not know how to stop
this behavior. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
