VB6 and Microsoft CRM

Has anybody ever managed to create a contact in Microsoft's CRM product with
VB6? If so, how? Any wisdom would be appreciated.

They have an object model, but the MS docs for this thing are typical- they
say an aweful lot without telling you anything.
