I know there are still professionals using VB 5. I know there are some
people still using VB 4; although most people using VB 4 are hobbyists (I
think).

But is anyone still actually using VB 3?

A lot of people still need it to reconvert their binary-format forms back to
text-format in order to extract the routines.

Unless you have permission from Microsoft to distribute their apps, I would
suggest you retract that offer and make it unavailable. Just looking out for
you bud.. I have been in court too many times on copyright issues.

I have written a utility in VB3 for analysing obstetric ultrasound scans. Allows sonographer to record that all details have been seen and checked normal or otherwise. Analyses all data and produces a full page detailed report. Graphs of fetal growth and centiles etc. Can extract data for statistical purposes. The database contains several years of data. Works in everything from Windows 95 to XP and who knows it might even work in Vista! I update it frequently as useful papers are published.
DISK4 got corrupted (I know, I know there should have been a backup) so I downloaded VB 2005 Express to rewrite the program and got completely confused. Lot of OOP rubbish and uneccessary complexity. I am a radiologist not a propeller head!
If it aint broke, don't fix it so I shall continue with VB3. Thanks to the person who made The VB4 disk available! All disks are safely on a CD now.

VB Download &quot;Temporari ly&quot; Unavailable ... DOH!

New user to this site, but WOW - I've been looking for replacement VB 3.0 Pro disks for about a year with no joy. We moved office a while back and discarded ALL of our old MS-DOS floppies (turns out our VB disks were amongst them - DOH...!)

Managed to download Disks 1-3 from Peanut's site, but it's now "temporaril y exceeded its data transfer limit" - anyone any ideas how long "temporary" lasts in Geocites world...?

We're desperate to install onto fresh XP machine to see if we can get our old application working.
