Anyone know the Unicode equivalent of Clipboard.SetText?

I need to copy some Unicode text to the Clipboard, but it ain't
    happening. :/

If there's no equivalent in VB, what's the API call?

I'm planning on distributing my app to users that might be running 98 or
Me (or even 95) - are they just unable to copy and paste Unicode? Am I
going to have to implement my own pseudo-clipboard? Hmm... what about
      rich text?

        Rich Text is not Unicode

        - are you really sure that you want Unicode ?

Well, it's Japanese characters on non-Japanese-specific systems. I
suppose I could go with different encoding methods, such as JIS, but
Unicode is already supported by Windows.

I know that RTF <> Unicode, but I was thinking about the fact that
Unicode characters in RTF are stored as escaped ASCII text (like
          \u35615?).

Ah, I see what you are up to

            - you might have a point about using RTF

            One thing about Unicode
            - it is not really supported by Windows itself in 95, 98 and ME
            - it is supported by Applications but that is not really the same
            thing
            - I wonder what happens when you use normal cut and paste with a
            Unicode Japanese font ...

Right now I'm using SendKeys for copying and pasting, and that works...
eh... well enough, I guess. In Win2k, anyway.

                Hmm....

Sounds interesting - you'll need to test it on 95/98
2k is from the NT stable ...

If you have a very simple Testbed and a Jap Font I could test it on 95
                - and perhaps 98

Nah, that's okay. I dual-boot to WinME for my games that don't like 2k,
so there's my non-NT test system right there. (And somewhere around here
there's a machine with a working install of 98SE...) Thanks for the
offer, though. Once I get results, one way or the other, I'll let you
                  know.
