Read my response in comp.lang.basic .visual.

Now, here's a bit of a hint - don't multipost. Multiposting is when you
post a message to a group, and then you post it to another group as a
new message. It is better to cross-post. Crossposting is posting your
message to more than one group all at once. Crossposting is better
because most newsreaders are able to detect a crossposted message and
can mark them as being the same message, while it is much, much harder
for a program to figure out that two messages are part of a multi-post,
especially when the poster uses different subjects (such as you did -
    "newby question!!!" vs. "newby qu?").

Did you even bother to read my reply in the other group? The answer is
no, I can't help you - now go to the newsgroup I mentioned in the other
        post and ASK THERE!

This looks like a VB.NET problem

Would you not be better off in a 'dotnet' NG ?

Although I *could* have engaged my brain in trying to look for an answer to
your question, your answer/attitude to a well-ment response, (here as well
as in another newsgroup) does not invite me to do so.

If you have problems with me witholding information you could use, my answer
            is "So what ??" :-)

In other words : If you want us to behave nicely and supply you with answers
to your questions, *you* better behave nicely in the first place. There is
*nothing* you can do to force us to answer you, and you can be ignored
            easily ...

You could ofcourse try to say "sorry", and start again ...

Auric_ is not giving you a hard time. Anyone who is not
using VB.Net will have no idea what the "system.drawing .dll"
object is or what a "System.Arithme ticException" error is.
You're dealing with automation-style objects that only exist
for .Net. If you want to blame someone blame the MS marketing
scheme that mislead you into thinking that you're learning VB.

Now that you have a new one...

I would suggest looking for a divide by zero error, or some value being
passed into a drawing routine that produces a huge or tiny result. You
really are getting an Overflow or underflow, which means a number too
big for its variable, or divide by zero, or some such. VB.Netters will
                    likely know.
