How can you read emails

I have a project where I get an email and i must turn it into an excel
spread sheet.. I haven't a clue.. any assistance would be appreciated..

While I have got no idea of how to create (let alone populate) an Excel
spread-sheet, I can answer the first part (I think :-). You don't. Grab an
e-mail message from where it's stored I mean.

My suggestion would be to use drag-and-drop. Just drag the e-mail message
to your application (which you allready have standing-by :-) and drop it
(just like you would drag-and-drop an e-mail onto your desktop or into a
folder). You tell your app (at design-time) to accept such drop-actions,
which results in your app receiving a text-file containing the e-mail, which
you can subsequently parse.

I just looked into my VB5 help-file, and "drag and drop" was mentioned ...
