unknown menu style

Hi There,

A want to integrate a menu in my VB application
which look slike the one used in e.g. outllok 2000.

I mean the rectangle on the left of the outlook application
in which buttons are located each above the other.
Each button has a image as coverage.

How is this type of menu called ?
