I have 50 Bytes to save to disk 1 byte at a time

Very new to this and need some simple help.
I have a number of bytes of data IE
pp1=10 and I want to save this to disk and read it back in when the program is started.
I am using VB 2010

What is pp1=10 suppose to be for? If pp1 is a variable that needs to be set to 10 when the program starts then you can do this a few ways.

1. You could use the programs built in Settings to store the value and set pp1 to the programs Setting in the FormLoad event. Here is a link to find out more about using the settings.

2. you could save the value of the variable to a text file in the FormClosing event and load the value back in and assign it to the variable in the FormLoad event. Here is a link on using the StreamWriter and the StreamReader.
