New in Visual Basic, Need Help

Hi I'm new in basic and I need help getting started with a project. I have to make a card game called SNAP. The point of the game is that two players will flip their card and if they match then one of them have to call out snap. The first one to call out snap gets the card.

I'm having trouble on getting the cards to generate randomly but match every now and then. I'm sorry if this isn't detailed enough. Just let me know if there needs to be more info

There's no need to "generate randomly but match every now and then". All you need to do is generate randomly. By pure chance, they will match every once in a while.

Thanks for the help. Now I'm having trouble on making a point system for the game. How do I make it to where it will give the person 10 points for getting a match. So the person will only get 10 points if they press the Snap button and they have to match. If I can just get this to work then I finish the project.

When they press the snap button, check if your two generated numbers match, if they do, give them 10 points.
