Tape Device access via vb....

Has anyone every used VB.net to control/write/read a tape device such as
LTO or SDLT? I'd like to be able to write a TAR utility within vb.net
that write to the tape device. Any suggestions?

I don't know if it will help you get started or not.

If you have any savvy, you'll be able to take the example in C# and convert
it to VB hopefully, or you can look for some VB examples, if they are out
there using Google. I looked a little bit and didn't see anything in VB. If
it's in C#, then you can do it in VB.
