Aaron, you're right, you *don't* get it. And you don't get over it. When
we've all moved on to VB#, you'll still be here whining about VB6 going
away.

Well, if they 'just worked', then you didn't. Is that what you're trying to
say?
No wonder you don't have a job anymore.

Beg to differ, but you won't admit it, even though you know I'm correct in
my statement

So, if it's only 1/4 the solution, why are you here ranting and raving like
a deranged lunatic? Sounds more to me like you're scared of the change and
don't appreciate those who are moving past you because you haven't the
initiative or motivation to improve your skill-set.

P.S. Do you shave your legs and underarms to post as Susie????

That was pretty good. That one got *3* responses. Not quite as good as that
one where you got six, though.
it's kinda like this recruiter I had; I told her I didn't do Java; and
she submitted me to this job that required a whole bunch of javascript
and shes like 'its not the same'
and im like UH YES IT IS THE SAME
anyone that says that there is a difference between VBA and VBS and
ActiveX scripts and VB6 and VB5 is trying to sell you something
and a company that sells you a solution for 1/4 of the market of VB6
is _WORTHLESS_AT_B EST_

Other then superficial simularities - no they aren't. JavaScript was invented
at Netscape, back when Navigator was the thing. They only called it
JavaScript because of it's superficial simularity to Sun's Java Language and
they thought it would make it more popular. It worked - even today people are
confused. The fact is JavaScript is NOT Java - period.
