sp 1

[ray well]

during a windows update i was notified about a visual studio sp1 of about
432mb, which allowed to download. during the installation process i was
notified that it was not installed. when i rebooted my system, and loaded vs
i did not see sp1 in help/about.

if i try help/check for updates, it takes me to ie to windows update where
i'm back to where i started from.

how do i get the sp1 to download and install?

Try downloading it manually, then install locally. Because of the size,
you'll avoid a boatload of potential problems that way:

The other user gave you the link to SP1 for 2005, but maybe you mean't for
2003:
