Elapsed Time with multiple forms

I'm new to vb.net. In my vb6 app...I had a timer on the first form...and
elapsed time would should on all the succeeding forms. It was easy with the
timer on the first form.

I need to accomplish the same thing in vb.net...but I'm not sure about the
best approach.

Any suggestions and code would be helpful.
