how is instmsi created?

hey all!
ive written my first application, and im trying to deploy it. ive used the
setup template - in my release folder i have a .msi file, setup.exe and setup.
ini.
im however unable to create instmsia and instmsiw . can someone please tell
me what im doing wrong?
