On the whole the My.Settings object is very good.
However, a config file seems to be created for every version of my
application. I don't have any control over the locations either.
When the application is uninstalled these config files are left behind and
just increse in numbers as further versions of my application of released.
How can I go about automatically deleting these?
The problem is that the folders they are created in are given some kind of
unique name.
Any ideas?
