alter statement

I have an doubt on alter statement,my question is how to change column datatype int to nvarchar for 8 tables with a single statement in same database.please reply me as soon as possible.

It can't be done in one statement as you are dealing with eight separate fields in eight separate tables.

All eight statements can be done as part of the one transaction though, and committed when, and only when, all ALTER SQL commands have completed successfully.
