I need to uninstall SQL Server 2005 Express, and then reinstall. The reasoning is that there is not a method to uninstall SP2 for SQL Server 2005 Express. Prior to doing so, I want to verify that I am taking the rights steps. I would think I could dettach the databases and move them off to a safe location and then later attach them once SQL Server has been reinstalled. My only other thought was that I would need to do something to save the user information possibly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
